The Warren Electric and Specialty Co. is a notable figure in early 20th-century industrial history for its defiant stance against the lighting monopoly held by General Electric (GE). Around 1900, the company marketed its light bulbs under the name "Anti-Trust" to appeal to consumers who were wary of the "Electrical Trust" that controlled nearly all lamp production in the United States. Ohio Hospital For Epileptics

This is the Ohio Hospital for Epileptics. It was the first Epilepsy colony in America, opening  in 1893. It closed in 1976. The dining hall pictured here was a Union Hospital during the Civil War. The number 5 was inserted in the time slot upside down.

In France, “April Fish” is the name of a person duped on April Fools Day. The day is also celebrated by bakeries and chocolatiers displaying fish-shaped chocolates and pastries. It has been known to have been celebrated as far back as 1564.
